The Flinders Ranges Council and Arts SA are supporting the Film Maker in Residence initiative in 2010.

Social Historian and film maker Malcolm McKinnon (Reckless Eye Media) has been invited to work with the community of Quorn and Hawker to develop a new documentary. The project will begin in early 2010. Malcolm has a long association with the community having produced several documentaries in or near the Flinders Ranges, exploring indigenous and social history of the region.
